I translate from English, French, German, Danish and Norwegian into Swedish. In particular cases I also translate non-fiction texts from Swedish into English; in such cases I have the result reviewed by a person with English as his/her mother tongue.

Manuals, agreements and contracts, press releases, computer software, educational material, general text. When it comes to book translations, I particularly like translating popular science and and social science text (and fiction).

Pricing

My offers with regard to straight translation is normally based on the number of words, which is custom in this business. For other types of work they are based on estimated time, but current account may also be used. The word price as well as the time estimate is very much dependent on the conditions in each particular case (subject area, degree of difficulty, urgency...).
